Tamie M. Abrahamson – Age 64, wife of the late Robert Abrahamson died unexpectedly Wednesday, May 7 at her home.
She was born in Utica, NY, August 27, 1960, a daughter of Janice (Wood) Diehsner of Billerica and the late John Diehsner and was raised in Billerica and moved to Vermont and Maine before moving back to Billerica 15 years ago.
Tamie had a deep appreciation for the simple pleasures in life. She had an amazing ability to connect with people, to make them feel loved and valued. Her generosity knew no bounds. One of her favorite things she enjoyed was having a caption & ginger and playing card games. Tamie appreciated her friends dearly and would text or call to see how everything was going.
Besides her mother, Tamie is survived by her son, Christopher Abrahamson of Billerica; her brothers, David Diehsner of Wells, ME, Jeff Diehsner of West Bridgewater and Randy Diehsner of Hartwell, GA.
Visiting hours will be held Sunday, May 11 at the Sweeney Memorial Funeral Home, 66 Concord Rd., Billerica from 1-4 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held Monday at St. Matthew the Evangelist Parish at St. Theresa Church, 466 Boston Rd., Billerica at 10 a.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the Parkinson’s Foundation, www.parkinson.org
