Susan Mary (Carr) Raimondi of Billerica, formerly Melbourne FL. passed away peacefully, Tuesday, September 19, at home surrounded by family. She was 79.
Born in Quincy, on October 2, 1943. She was the loving daughter of the late Charles and Rita Carr. Sue resided in Billerica for more than 30 years where she was dedicated to her family. Sue was employed at Dynamics Research Corporation for over 22 years and retired in 2001 to Melbourne, Florida.
Sue is survived by her husband and best friend of 58 years, Frank, two daughters, Karen and her husband Patrick Tucker, Suzanne and her husband Joe Borneman. Karen and Suzanne were the Angels that cared for their mom during her illness.
Sue was a loving ‘Nana’ to her six granddaughters Kristen and wife Melissa, Kelly and Katelin Dangora, Megan, Mikayla and Melanie Borneman. Sue is also survived by her sister Marsha and her husband Frank Terranova, many nieces, and nephews.

Sue was a loving mother, wife, and grandmother and dear friend to many. She will be remembered for her kindness, generosity, and sense of humor.
A Funeral Mass will be held Monday, September 25 at St. Matthew the Evangelist Parish at St. Theresa Church, 466 Boston Rd., Billerica at 10 a.m. Burial will take place at the Fox Hill Cemetery, Billerica. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Susan’s name to the Alzheimer’s Association, www.alz.org
