Susan A. (Corkum) Kennedy, age 81, beloved wife of the late Martin C. Kennedy Jr. died Thursday at Brightview Concord River with her family by her side.
She was born in Somerville, October 18, 1941 a daughter of the late Charles and Maren (Rogers) Corkum and has been a lifelong Billerica resident.
Susan was an Administrative Assistant working for the Town of Bedford in the Town Manager’s office and was a member of St. Anne’s Church in Billerica where she was active in the thrift shop and had sung in the choir.
She is survived by one daughter, Elizabeth Kelly and her husband Brian of Billerica; two sons, Daniel Kennedy of Gloucester and Jason Kennedy and his wife Karen of Nashua, NH; one sister, Eveline Warren of ME; three grandchildren, Laura, Brooke and Grace; two step grandchildren, John and Nicholas; three great step grandchildren Riley and Daniel and Thomas as well as her beloved cat Precious. She was the sister of the late Robert Corkum.
A Memorial Service will be held Thursday, January 12, 2023 at St. Anne’s Episcopal Church, 14 Treble Cove Rd., N. Billerica at 11 a.m. Relatives and friends respectfully invited. Burial in St. Patrick Cemetery, Lowell. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Brighton Hospice, 1234 Chestnut St., Newton, MA 02464
