Steven M. Schafer – Age 53, beloved husband of Susan (Ogeka) Schafer died unexpectedly Monday, September 25.
He was born in Medford on August 10, 1970, the son of Roy G. Schafer of Billerica and the late Donna J. (Carlson) Schafer, and was raised in Billerica. He most recently resided in Atkinson, NH.
Steven graduated from the Shawsheen Valley Technical High School in 1988. He worked for Shawsheen Air Services for 18 years, and operated his own company for many years.
Besides his wife and father, Steven is survived by his children, Jordan Schafer of Haverhill, Deandra Schafer of Tewksbury and Adrianna Schafer of Manchester, NH; his brother, Eric Schafer and his wife Mary Ann of Billerica, and his sister, Jennifer Bourdeau and her husband Chet of Billerica.
A memorial service for Steven will be held on Saturday 9/30/23, 1:00pm at the New Life Christian Assembly Church (966 Main St, Haverhill, MA 01830). Immediately following the service will be a celebration of life at Michael’s Function Hall (12 Alpha St Haverhill, MA 01832), where food and drinks will be available. Casual attire is welcomed.
