Obituary for Steven E. Magiera
Steven E. Magiera, Age 85, Loving husband of Pearl (Lambert) Magiera died Saturday at the Bedford VA Medical Center. He was born in Flint, MI, October 25, 1928, the son of Frank and Mary (Pultorak) Magiera and lived in Flint, MI before moving to Billerica in 1961. Mr. Magiera served in the Army during the Korean War and was a POW for 2 ½ years. He worked as a Cost Analyst for Raytheon for many years prior to his retirement. Besides his wife, Mr. Magiera is survived by his son, Steven J. Magiera and his wife Ariann Langsam of Ponte Vedra Beach, FL; his daughters, Kelley Clancy of Chelmsford and Diane Magiera of Philadelphia, PA; his sister, Phyllis Stempien of MI and is also survived by 6 grandchildren. He was the brother of the late Irene Seidel, Casimira Harchick and Eugene Magiera. MAGIERA – Of Billerica, July 5, Steven E. Magiera, Funeral Thursday from the SWEENEY MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 66 Concord Rd., Billerica at 8 a.m. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Theresa Church at 9 a.m. Relatives and friends respectfully invited. Visiting hours will be held Wednesday from 4-7 p.m. Burial in Fox Hill Cemetery, Billerica. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 311 Arsenal St., Watertown, MA 02472.
