Obituary for Stephanie L. Maguire
HUDSON, NH – Stephanie L (Prunier) Maguire, age 68, beloved wife of Francis J. “Mac” Maguire Jr. died unexpectedly Tuesday at Lowell General Hospital.
She was born in Indianapolis, Indiana, August 4, 1947 a daughter of the late Betty (Broach) Prunier and lived in Canyon, Texas and California before moving to Hudson 18 years ago.
The Dallas Cowboys have transferred a huge fan base to Heaven with the passing of Stephanie alone. Despite her many years in the New England area, she was not to be converted to her husband’s beloved Patriots. Her contagious smile would light up a room and her southern drawl, warm personality and gift of gab gained her many a friend. She had a heart of gold and was very loving and generous to family and friends.
Mrs. Maguire loved her work as the school secretary at Chaffey High School in Ontario, CA and opened her heart and home to many a foreign exchange student before coming to New Hampshire and joining Dr. Neelam Sihag’s practice as the Office Manager for many years.
Besides her beloved husband she is survived by her father, Ronald Prunier of The Villages, FL, one stepson, Edmund Lemieux; her beloved companion Riley, her half-sister, Margie Sweetin of CA; two grandchildren, Kolt and Kyson Hacker: her sisters-in-law Patricia Powderly and her husband Daniel, Denise Adams and her husband Charles, Lisa Strazzere and her husband William and Kathleen Capraro and her husband Joseph all of Billerica, Mary Kiriakakos and her husband William of Nashua, Sharon McPadden and her companion Tim of Woburn and Peg Randall and her husband Alan of Hampstead, NH as well as many nieces and nephews and her large extended family in Texas.
MAGUIRE – Of Hudson, NH formerly of TX and CA, Stephanie L. (Prunier) Maguire. Visiting hours will be held Saturday at the SWEENEY MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 66 Concord Rd., Billerica from 1 – 4 p.m. with a Prayer Service to be held at 3:45 p.m. Relatives and friends respectfully invited.
