Obituary for Stanislaus P. 'Stan' MacDougall Jr.
BILLERICA – Stanislaus P. “Stan” MacDougall Jr., age 87, husband of the late Lillian E. (Lawson) MacDougall with whom he celebrated 52 years of marriage prior to her death in 2000, died Sunday at Lowell General Hospital with his family by his side. He was born in Somerville, Oct. 20, 1925 a son of the late Stanislaus P. Sr. and Mary E. (Gracie) MacDougall and has lived in Billerica for most of his life. Mr. MacDougall served in the US Navy during WW II was a plumber for Polaroid Corp. and worked for Trailmobile and Corey Construction. He enjoyed woodworking and spending time in Florida with his motor home. He is survived by two sons, Gary MacDougall and his wife Eileen of Assonet and Brian MacDougall of Billerica; two daughters, Mary Gerossie and her husband Charlie and Brenda Cooper both of Billerica; ten grandchildren, Jeff and Mark Gerossie, Ron, Craig and Eric Cooper, Erenn-Leigh Kosar, Jesse Marie MacDougall, Jo-Ell Chalk and Matthew and David MacDougall. Also survived by seven great-grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter. He was the father of the late Paul MacDougall. MACDOUGALL – Of Billerica, formerly of Somerville, March 31, Stanislaus P. “Stan” MacDougall Jr. A Graveside Service will be held Wednesday at the Fox Hill Cemetery, 130 Andover Rd., Billerica at 11 a.m. Relatives and friends respectfully invited.
