Obituary for Sidney M. Noel
NOEL, SIDNEY M. – Age 93, of Arlington and Centerville, MA, April 7 at home surrounded by his family. Beloved husband of Margaret Allison (Campbell) Noel. Devoted father of Janet Moran and her companion Richard Young of Billerica and Elizabeth Rotondi and her husband Robert of Westborough. Also survived by five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Born on May 15, 1924 in St. John’s, Newfoundland, a son of the late Ernest and Emily Noel, he was the last surviving of 11 children.
He served in the Royal Canadian Air Force and was an instrument assembler/technician at General Radio for 37 years.
A Memorial Service will be held at St. John’s Episcopal Church, 74 Pleasant Street, Arlington, MA on April 14 at 1:30pm. Relatives and friends respectfully invited. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Shriner’s Hospital for Children, 51 Blossom St. Boston, MA 02114 or to the VNA Hospice of Middlesex East, Lahey Philanthropy, 41 Mall Rd.
