Obituary for Shirley J. Gullage
Shirley J. Gullage - Age 78, wife of the late George A. Gullage died Wednesday at the Lowell General Hospital.
She was born in Lowell, July 15, 1931, the daughter of the late Frederick K. and Thelma (Chamberlin) Greathead and has lived in Billerica for most of her life.
Mrs. Gullage worked in the Cafeteria for the Billerica School Department for 21 years prior to her retirement. She was a member of Billerica Council on Aging, the Order of the Eastern Star and was a past Worthy Matron and the Daughters of the Nile.
Mrs. Gullage is survived by her sons, George Gullage and his good friend, Jeanie Theriault of Chelmsford, Frank Gullage and his wife Laurie of Warren, NH, Scot Gullage and his wife Jackie and Greg Gullage and his wife Linda all of Billerica; her brother, Kenneth Greathead of Lowell; her sisters, Glenna Nickerson of Raymond, NH and Sheryl Campbell of Peabody; 7 grandchildren, Greg, George and Geoffrey Gullage, Amanda, Gina and Katia Gullage and Kerri Lowry and her great grandson, Cameron Lowry. Mother-in-law of the late Susan Gullage.
GULLAGE - Of Billerica, April 14, Shirley J. (Greathead) Gullage. Visiting hours will be held Friday at the SWEENEY MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 66 Concord Rd., Billerica from 4-7 p.m. Relatives and friends respectfully invited. Funeral arrangements will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Billerica Council on Aging, 25 Concord Rd., Billerica, MA 01821.
