Obituary for Shirley E. DeAmicis
BILLERICA – Shirley E. (Harrison) DeAmicis, age 92, beloved wife of the late Julio H. “Red” DeAmicis, died Thursday at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Waltham, April 4, 1922 a daughter of the late Robert J. and Helen M. (Daniels) Harrison and lived in Waltham before moving to Billerica 32 years ago. Mrs. DeAmicis worked for Raytheon and several other local companies but found her greatest joy spending time with her family. She is survived by three daughters, Bonnie Bell and her husband Daniel of CA, Julie Rigoli and her husband Gary of Billerica and Elaine Gagnon and her husband Dennis of Chelmsford; six grandchildren, Michele Kelley, Gwen Battcock and her husband Matthew, Todd Rigoli and his girlfriend Tiffany Meehan, Christopher and Gregory Rando and Elena Rando-Ellis; her niece, Alice Daly as well as three great-grandchildren. She was also the sister of the late Robert Harrison. DEAMICIS – Of Billerica, formerly of Waltham, July 10, Shirley E. (Harrison) DeAmicis. Visiting hours will be held Sunday at the SWEENEY MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 66 Concord Rd., Billerica from 4 – 7 p.m. A Chapel Service will be held Monday at St. Joseph Cemetery, 90 Riverneck Rd., Chelmsford at 1 p.m. Relatives and Friends Respectfully invited.
