Obituary for Shirley Mae Sheridan
Shirley Mae Sheridan – Age 80, wife of the late Philip H. Sheridan died Friday, Sept. 18, at her daughter’s home in Orlando, FL.
Mrs. Sheridan was born in Winchester, April 6, 1935, a daughter of the late Ernest D. and Agnes J. (Moody) Babcock. She was raised in Billerica and attended the Howe High School. In her early years, Mrs. Sheridan worked for the Billerica Kindergarten System and retired from the Sipex Corporation in Billerica. She loved making Sunday dinners and spending time with her family and friends.
She will be dearly missed by her daughters and their husbands; Carolyn Capodilupo and her husband Peter of Billerica, her caregivers, Lori Stimpson and her husband Dave of Orlando, FL and Terri MacIntyre and her husband Leo of Hudson, NH. She was the beloved grandmother to David and Nicole Stimpson of De Leon Springs, FL, Ashley and Brandon Parker and Tyler Stimpson of Orlando, FL, Sean and Jillian Liberty and Peter and Elizabeth Capodilupo of Billerica. She was the precious Nana GG to Jackson and Cleburne Stimpson and Morgan Parker of FL. She is the sister of Joe Babcock and his wife Sylvia of Port Orange, FL. She was the mother of the late Donna Liberty and her husband Kevin and sister of the late William Babcock, Alice Sciascia, Dorothy Coffey, Ann Spaulding, Carol Hickey and Janet Weekley.
SHERIDAN – Of Orlando, FL, formerly of Billerica, Sept. 18, Shirley M. (Babcock) Sheridan. A visitation will be held Friday at the SWEENEY MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 66 Concord Rd., Billerica from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. A graveside service will be held at the Fox Hill Cemetery, 130 Andover Rd., Billerica at 1:30 p.m. Relatives and friends respectfully invited. Memorial contributions may be made to the Wounded Warriors Project, 150 Cambridge Park Dr., Cambridge, MA 02140.
