Obituary for Shawn G. Mahaney
Shawn G. Mahaney – Age 52, beloved husband of Carolyn A. (Keyes) Mahaney died unexpectedly Sunday at Lowell General Hospital.
He was born in Somerville, April 29, 1965, a son of Colleen K. (Carter) Mahaney of Westford and the late Kenneth J. Mahaney and was a life long Billerica resident.
Shawn graduated from Austin Prep in 1983 and then received his Bachelors Degree from the University of Massachusetts – Amherst in 1987. He was a self-employed painter in the Billerica area.
Besides his wife and mother, Shawn is survived by his two sons, Kevin Mahaney of Dover, NH and Ryan Mahaney of Billerica and his sister, Mary Tighe and her husband, Dan and family of Westford. Shawn also leaves behind many other family and friends.
MAHANEY – Of Billerica, Nov. 12, Shawn G. Mahaney, Visiting hours will be held Wednesday at SWEENEY MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 66 Concord Rd., Billerica from 3-6 p.m. with a prayer service to be held at 5:45 p.m. Relatives and friends respectfully invited. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association, 10 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701.
