Obituary for Sharman M. O'Brien
Sharman M. O’Brien, age 58, beloved wife of John J. Meyer died Saturday at Lahey Hospital and Medical Center after a courageous and inspiring battle with cancer.
She was born in Attleboro, daughter of the late Robert E. and Catherine L. (Simpson) O’Brien and sister of the late Ray and Robert O’Brien. She moved to Billerica in 2001.
Sharman was a Controller for Microsemi Corporation in Lowell.
Besides her husband she is survived by one stepdaughter, Janelle Meyer of Mansfield and one stepson, Johnny Meyer of Billerica; one brother, Rich O’Brien and her sisters-in-law, Brenda O’Brien, Elaine O’Brien, Harriet Fitch and her husband Larry. Sharman was also a cherished member of the ‘DUCA’ family.

Funeral Friday from the SWEENEY MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 66 Concord Rd., Billerica at 8 a.m. A Funeral Mass will be held in St. Theresa Church, Billerica at 9 a.m. Relatives and friends respectfully invited. Visiting hours will be held Thursday from 3 – 8 p.m.
