Obituary for Scot L. Conroy
Scot L. Conroy, age 49, died unexpectedly Monday, December 27.
He was born in Melrose, October 4, 1972, a son of Lawrence B. and Karen L. (Sherwood) Conroy and lived in Merrimac and Reading before moving to Billerica. Scot graduated from Reading High School in 1990 and later attended UMass Dartmouth. He proudly served in the U.S. Army.
He was employed in the Information Technology Department at the Edith Nourse Rogers Memorial Veterans Hospital in Bedford.
Besides his parents, Scot is survived by his son, Matthew Buttman of Peabody; his daughter, Hannah Morris Wakefield; his brother, Keith Conroy and his wife, Nancy of Nashua, NH and their children, Hailey and Rebecca; his sister Catriel Conroy of Billerica and was the brother of the late Lori Conroy.
A Funeral Mass will be held Monday, January 3 at St. Matthew the Evangelist Parish at St. Theresa Church, 465 Boston Rd., Billerica at 10 a.m. Masks will be required. His burial with military honors will take place at the Fox Hill Cemetery, 130 Andover Rd., Billerica.
