Obituary for Salvatore A. 'Tony' Grasso
GRASSO, SALVATORE A. “TONY” – Of Billerica, formerly of Medford, passed away unexpectedly June 1. Beloved husband of Kathleen (Walsh) Grasso. Loving father of Paul Grasso and his wife Nicole of Tyngsboro, Tanya Carlyle and her husband Eric of Westford and Janine Elliott and her husband Brandon of Coventry, CT. Grandfather of Meghan, Ryan, Justin, James, Caroline and “Papa’s favorite” Cameron. Brother of Sylvia Kalipolites and her husband Marc of NY and the late Paul Grasso. Tony was a former member of Army National Guard. Gifted with a strong work ethic, he founded and operated Rex Heating Company, and continued a lifelong career in the heating & oil businesses. Tony was passionate about nature and enjoyed flower and vegetable gardening. Visting hours will be held Wednesday June 5 at the Sweeney Memorial Funeral Home, 66 Concord Rd., Billerica, from 4 – 7 p.m. A memorial service will be included beginning at 6:30 p.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited.
