Obituary for Salvatore LaFerla
LaFerla – Of Boynton Beach, FL, formerly of E. Boston, Feb. 19, Salvatore J. LaFerla, Father of John LaFerla of Newark, DE, Lawrence LaFerla of Japan, Carol Duane of Chelmsford, Lynn LaFerla and Barbara Hayes of Methuen. Brother of James LaFerla of NC, Stella Riccio of Peabody and Dorothy Bosworth of Florida. Also survived by eight grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. He was the former husband of the late Gladys Valiquette. At the request of the family, funeral arrangements will be private and held at their convenience. Memorial contributions may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project, 150 Cambridge Park Drive, Cambridge, MA 02140. Late WW II Veteran and POW and former East Boston clothing store owner.
