Obituary for Ruth E. Sabre
NORTH CHELMFORD – Ruth E. (Lacombe) Sabre, age 88, beloved wife of the late Harold P. “Harry” Sabre died Thursday at her home surrounded by her family.
She was born in North Billerica, January 28, 1928 a daughter of the late Gene and Marietta (Ward) Lacombe and lived in North Billerica for 63 years before moving to North Chelmsford 25 years ago.
Mrs. Sabre was employed in the Housekeeping Dept. at Tewksbury State Hospital for several years.
She is survived by one son, Robert P Sabre of N. Chelmsford; two daughters, Karen A. Sabre of N. Chelmsford and Susan L. Russell and her husband Michael of Newburyport; her special nephew Robert Solomon, many other nieces and nephews and her beloved Golden Retriever Maggie. She was the sister of the late Mildred Solomon and Virginia Weldon.

Funeral Monday from the SWEENEY MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 66 Concord Rd., Billerica at 11 a.m. A Funeral Mass will be held in St. Andrew’s Church at 12 Noon. Relatives and friends respectfully invited. Visiting hours will be held Sunday from 1 – 4 p.m. In lie of flowers memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 Burial in St. Patrick Cemetery, Lowell.
