Obituary for Russell D. McGibbon
Russell D. McGibbon - Age 78, beloved husband of Ann (Lee) McGibbon died after a lengthy illness Tuesday at their home.
He was born in Lawrence, March 31, 1941, a son of the late Alexander and Dorothy (Boynes) McGibbon and lived in Methuen and Andover before moving to Wilmington in 1998.
Russell was employed by First National Stores, Wang Laboratories and retired from Alpha Industries.
Besides his wife, he is survived by his brother, Alexander McGibbon and his wife Anne, his sister-in-law Jeanne McGibbon, his children, Neil and his wife Angela, Joanne, Ellen, Amy and her husband Chris and seven grandchildren. He also is survived by many nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late William McGibbon, Barbara Fawcett and Dorothy DiGloria.
It being Russell's request, there will be no calling hours and burial will take place at a later date.
