Rose M. Golden – age 88, wife of the late Walter R. Golden died peacefully Sunday, January 12 at the Community Hospice House in Merrimack, NH.
She was born in Boston, May 18, 1936, a daughter of the late Anthony and Anna (Prestipino) Aveni and was raised in Somerville. She lived in Billerica for 50 years before moving to Tewksbury and most recently to Milford, NH.
She was employed as a Legal Secretary for the Law Office of Michael Rubin prior to her retirement.
Rose is survived by her daughters, Kelly Kling and her husband Frank of Milford, NH and Lori Arnold and her husband John of Chelmsford; her son, Frank Golden and his wife Debora of Swampscott. She is also survived by her five grandchildren and four great grandchildren. She was the mother of the late Joy Stygles, grandmother of the late Frank Kling and sister of the late Paul Aveni.
A Funeral Mass will be held Thursday, January 16 at St. Matthew the Evangelist Parish at St. Theresa Church, 466 Boston Rd., Billerica at 10 a.m. Her burial will take place at the Fox Hill Cemetery in Billerica.
