Obituary for Rosalie T. Kota Luongo
Billerica – Rosalie T. Kota Luongo – Age 76, wife of the late Richard A. Luongo Sr. died Saturday at the Lahey Hospital in Burlington.
She was born in Johnstown, PA, June 14, 1939, a daughter of the late Stephen G. and Rose (Musante) Kota. Mrs. Kota Luongo graduated with her Masters Degree from Penn State and in her younger years was a volunteer firefighter in Johnstown, PA. She traveled extensively teaching English in Guatemala, Honduras, Greece and Iran. She later traveled in her motor home, where she met her husband Richard and they were married in 1993 and were inseparable until his death in 2013.
She is survived by her daughters, Laurie Busa and her husband Gene of Billerica and Mary McIntyre and her husband Jeff Miller of Chilhowee, Missouri; her son, Richard Luongo Jr. and his wife Cheryl of Arlington; her grandchildren, Geno Busa and his wife Kelly and Jaime Busa, Brianna Duddy and her husband Patrick, Cameron and Jessica Luongo and her great granddaughter, Tess Busa and life long friend Maryanne “Mair” Camp.
KOTA LUONGO – Of Billerica, June 20, Rosalie T. Kota Luongo, A memorial visitation will be held Friday at the SWEENEY MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 66 Concord Rd., Billerica from 5-7 p.m. Relatives and friends respectfully invited.
