Obituary for Roger M. Auger
Roger M. Auger, 71, of Billerica MA, passed peacefully surrounded by his loving family on June 1, 2018. Born January 29, 1947 in Everett MA, survived by his mother Marie Auger, sister Diane Auger Kelley, and brothers Donald Auger and John Auger. Married for 46 years to his beloved wife Linnie Auger and cherished father to his daughter Alexis, and his sons Justin Auger and wife Stacey, Christian Auger and wife Jennifer, Brandon Auger and wife Erica, Reid Auger and wife Anne. He is the proud grandfather to Quinn, Emilia, Evan, Josh, Chloe and Edie. Roger was a decorated veteran who served in the 101st Airborne Division during the Vietnam war. As a successful business owner of ControlAir Systems, Roger was looked up to by many for his advocacy in the industry and his mentorship to his colleagues. A celebration of Roger’s wonderful life will be held on Monday from the Sweeney Memorial Funeral Home, 66 Concord Rd., Billerica, at 9:30 a.m. Followed by his Funeral Mass at St. Theresa Church, Billerica at 10:30 a.m. Visiting hours will be held Sunday from 2 – 5 p.m. In lieu of flowers memorial donations in memory of Roger can be made to the MGH Cancer Center at www.giving.massgeneral.org/cancer
