Obituary for Roberta L. Johnston
Roberta L. Johnston – Age 80, beloved wife of Ronald P. Johnston died unexpectedly Sunday at the Lowell General Hospital.

She was born in Waltham, April 17, 1941, a daughter of the late James and Catherine (Curtin) Harrington and lived in Waltham before moving to Billerica in 1970.

Besides her husband, Roberta is survived by her son, Ronald Johnston and his wife Danielle of Billerica; her daughters, Betty Fehlan and her husband William of Somerville, Sharon Spindler and her husband Edward of Dracut, Sheila McNeil and her husband Paul of Tewksbury and Darlene Proulx and her husband Gary of Billerica; her sisters, Shirley Beck, Marylou Rogers and Jackie Harrington all of Waltham; her grandchildren, Rhonda, Kelly, Erin, Eric, Kalyn, Zackary and Cameron, her great grandchildren, Shawn, Madyson, Rylan, Willow and Finnegan and many nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Joan Comtois, Kathleen Wessinger, Frances Jones and Patricia Sharpe.

Her funeral will be held Thursday from the Sweeney Memorial Funeral Home, 66 Concord Rd., Billerica at 10 a.m. A graveside service will be held at the Fox Hill Cemetery, 130 Andover Rd., Billerica at 11 a.m. Visiting hours will be held Wednesday from 4-7 p.m. Face coverings and social distancing will be required. Memorial contributions may be made in her name to the Epilepsy Foundation, www.epilepsynewengland.org
