Robert J. Kelley – Age 82, beloved husband of Mary M. (Borelli) Kelley died peacefully Saturday, Dec. 3 at the Palm Center in Chelmsford.
He was born in Arlington, November 14, 1940, a son of the late William F. and Theresa B. (Diggins) Kelley and was raised in West Medford before moving to Billerica in 1973.
Bob was employed as a Letter Carrier for the U.S. Post Office in Waltham for over 30 years prior to his retirement. He enjoyed traveling with his family to Maine, New Hampshire and Florida where they would hike, canoe and swim.
Bob was the father of the late Mark Kelley and is survived by his brothers, Joseph Kelley of Wilmington, Charles Kelley of Whitman, James Kelley of Florida, Daniel Kelley of Plymouth, William Kelley of Medford and Thomas Kelley of Norton and was the brother of the late Matthew Kelley.
A Funeral Mass will be held Wednesday, Dec. 7 at St. Matthew the Evangelist Parish at St. Theresa Church, 466 Boston Rd., Billerica at 10 a.m. His burial with military honors will be held at the Fox Hill Cemetery, Billerica.
