Obituary for Robert J. Borsic
BILLERICA – Robert J. Borsic, age 82, husband of the late Irene F. (Rzepka) Borsic died Sunday at the Kaplan Hospice House. He was born in Cleveland, OH, April 17, 1931 a son of the late Charles and Mary (Grdnick) Borsic and has been a Billerica resident since 1978. Mr. Borsic served in the US Air Force from 1952 until1978 mostly as a jet engine mechanic having attained the rank of MSgt and was awarded the Air Medal with cluster for service during the Vietnam War. He was an avid aviation enthusiast and animal lover. Mr. Borsic is survived by two sons, Blaine Borsic of Woburn and Blake Borsic of Roy, WA; one daughter, Elaine Lukowski of Charlton; one brother, Charles Borsic of Ca; one sister, Charlene Borsic of OH; four grandchildren, Rodney, Brock, Brett, Sarah and three great-grandchildren, Mason, Chase and Avery. Visitation will be held Thursday at the SWEENEY MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 66 Concord Rd., Billerica, from 11 – 12 noon followed by a graveside service at the Fox Hill Cemetery, Billerica at 12:30 p.m. Relatives and friends respectfully invited.
