Robert H. Hogan – age 84, husband of the late Joan M. (McNamara) Hogan, died Wednesday, December 17 at the Lawrence General Hospital.
He was born in Boston, February 23, 1941, a son of the late William and Edna (Guilford) Hogan and was raised in Boston. He later lived in Halifax for many years before moving to Billerica and most recently, Andover.
Bob worked for Honeywell in Billerica for many years and then with his wife, operated Hogan’s Limousine Service in Halifax.
He is survived by his sister-in-law, Regina (Jeany) Connor and her husband Michael (Mickey) of Billerica. He was the charismatic and entertaining uncle of Michael Connor, Jr. and his wife Tracy of Dunstable, Kelly McGowan and her husband Shawn of Newfields, NH and Melissa Gilreath and her husband Craig of Stoneham as well as his five grandnephews, Jack, Tyler, Owen, Aiden and Benjamin. He also leaves behind many great friends at Atria Marland Place in Andover.
His funeral arrangements will be private; memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one's choice. Arrangements under the care of the Sweeney Memorial Funeral Home, Billerica.
