Obituary for Robert G. Thompson
Robert G. Thompson - Age 77, husband of Edna C. (Viray) Thompson died Monday at the Lahey Clinic in Burlington.
He was born in Brookline, March 4, 1932, the son of the late Joseph and Nora H. (Donnelly) Thompson and has been living in Billerica for the past 23 years. Mr. Thompson served in the Marines during the Korean War. He was a member of the V.F.W. Eggo Post in Billerica, the Marine Corps. League and the American Legion.
Mr. Thompson worked for Rangeway Golf in Billerica prior to his retirement.
Besides his wife, Mr. Thompson is survived by his son, Robert G. Thompson Jr. and his daughter, Darlene Thompson; his brothers, Peter Thompson of FL and Edward and Earl Thompson of CA; his sisters, Helen Savage of NH and Barbara Capodilupo and Gail Gionet of Billerica. Mr. Thompson was the brother of the late Joseph Donnelly and William Thompson.

Funeral Thursday from the SWEENEY MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 66 Concord Rd., Billerica at 8 a.m. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Theresa Church at 9 a.m. Relatives and friends respectfully invited. Visiting hours will be held Wednesday from 4-7 p.m. Burial in Fox Hill Cemetery, Billerica.
