Obituary for Robert C. Doucette
BILLERICA - Robert C. Doucette, age 78, beloved husband of Rose (Barbagallo) Doucette with whom he celebrated 50 years of marriage in September died unexpectedly Saturday at Lahey Clinic in Burlington.
He was born in Malden, Nov. 13, 1931 son of the late Neil and Beatrice (Clarke) Doucette and lived in Arlington before moving to Billerica 40 years ago.
Mr. Doucette served in the US Navy during the Korean War, was a Mail Handler for the USPS for 35 years first in Back Bay and most recently in Chelsea and was a member of the American Legion.
Besides his wife he is survived by two sons, Robert Doucette Jr. and his wife Annmarie of Billerica and Jeffrey Doucette and his wife Gail of Brookline, NH; one daughter Lisa Brenten and her husband Richard of CA; one brother Lester Doucette of Somerville, four grandchildren Alex, Christopher, Nicholas and Maria Rose Doucette as well as many nieces and nephews. He was also the brother of the late John, Francis, Leo, Eddie, Earl, Larry and Vincent Doucette, Lillian Garmon and Trudy Diciaccio.

Funeral Thursday from the SWEENEY MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 66 Concord Rd., Billerica at 9 a.m. A Funeral Mass will be held in St. Dorothy Church, Wilmington at 10 a.m. Relatives and friends respectfully invited.
