Obituary for Robert C. Anton
Robert C. Anton - Age 71, beloved husband of Joan M. (Callahan) Anton died Friday at the Lahey Clinic in Burlington.
He was born in Boston, the son of the late Frank P. and Mary E. (Hart) Anton and lived in Boston before moving to Billerica in 1967. He was a communicant of St. Mary\'s Church in Billerica.
Mr. Anton was employed as a Millwright and Welder having worked at Toupin Rigging Company and the C.N. Wood Company before his retirement. He was a member of the Billerica Lodge of Elks, Billerica Rod and Gun Club and the Stonybrook Gun Club.
Besides his wife, Mr. Anton is survived by his son, Robert C. Anton Jr. and his wife Janet of Medway; his daughter, Christine Gualtieri and her husband Mark of Billerica; his brother, Francis Anton of MD and is also survived by 5 grandchildren.
ANTON - Of Billerica, July 22, Robert C. Anton, Funeral Tuesday from the SWEENEY MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 66 Concord Rd., Billerica at 9 a.m. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Mary's Church at 10 a.m. Relatives and friends respectfully invited. Visiting hours will be held Monday from 4-7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701.
