Obituary for Robert W. McDonough
Robert McDonough, aged 60, passed away at his home on Friday after coping with multiple health conditions over several years. He was born in Boston, February 16, 1958, son of the late Robert and Julia (McMenimen) McDonough and was raised in Billerica before moving to Haverhill and then Dracut.
Mr. McDonough was a man of strong faith, humor, and will. He outwardly expressed his pride in family, his love of sports, hunting, and the outdoors, particularly his favorite recluse in Pittsburg, NH. His most favored company included family, lifelong friends, and his grandson Jackson with whom he bonded over movies, playful tricks, and lots of Pa snuggles. He was employed at Diamond Crystal in Wilmington and later worked for General Mills in Methuen whereby he shared his Master Craftsmanship of any requested challenge. He will be dearly missed by those who have known and loved him.
He is survived by his son, Jonathan McDonough and his partner MaryKate Kelley of Haverhill; his daughter, Bethany McDonough of Dracut; his brother Richard McDonough and his wife Tammy of Haverhill; his grandson, Jackson McDonough, and his former wife, Cheryl (Evans) McDonough of Dracut. He was the father of the late David McDonough.

McDonough, A visitation will be held Tuesday at the SWEENEY MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 66 Concord Rd., Billerica from 10:30-12 noon with a prayer service to be held at 12 noon.
