Obituary for Robert J. Haynes
Robert J. Haynes – Age 89, beloved husband of 63 years to Eleanor B. (Bartlett) Haynes died Tuesday at CareOne at Wilmington.
He was born in Peabody, February 6, 1928, a son of the late James W. and Bertha M. (Simpson) Haynes and lived in Wakefield before moving to Billerica in 1958. He proudly served in the U.S. Army Air Corps from 1946-1947.
Mr. Haynes was employed by Sunnyhurst Dairy in Stoneham for 21 years and then was employed as a Custodian at the Ditson School in Billerica prior to his retirement.
Besides his wife, Mr. Haynes is survived by his sons, Robert Haynes Jr. of New York, NY and David Haynes of Billerica; his daughters, Donna Ring and Cheri Harvey both of Billerica and his brother, Philip Haynes of Methuen. Also survived by five grandchildren David Ring, Lauren Ring, Stephen Harvey Jr., John Harvey and Eric Harvey and one great grandson Jack Harvey.
