Obituary for Robert Gregory Scott
BURLINGTON – Robert Gregory Scott, age 79, beloved husband of Claudia (Broadbent) Scott passed peacefully Saturday at Lahey Hospital and Medical Center.

He was born in Idaho Falls, Idaho May 13, 1940 a son of the late Glendon and Murrel (Shanafelt) Scott. He has been a resident of Burlington since 2007. Prior to residing in Burlington, MA he resided in Lake Worth FL, Watertown MA, and Ogden, UT. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ Latter Day Saints.

Mr. Scott served in the US Air Force and was a Logistics Manager at Hanscom Air Force Base.

Besides his wife he is survived by his sons, Gregory Scott, and his wife Courtney of Lake Worth, FL, Andre Scott of Burlington and Mitchell Scott and his wife Ann-Marie of Billerica. He is survived by his 3 grandchildren, Preston, Rebecca, and Andrew as well as his twin sister Bonnie (Scott) Johnson and her husband Kevin of Utah. He also leaves behind beloved nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He enjoyed spending time with family, fixing cars and riding motorcycles. He was the co-founder of The Golden Spike Empire Vintage Car Club of Ogden, Utah. He was an avid collector of unique items.

A private graveside service was held at the Pine Haven Cemetery, Burlington.

In lieu of flowers the family would like donations made to JDRF in support of finding a cure for type 1 diabetes.
