Obituary for Robert A. Letellier Jr.
Robert A. Letellier Jr. – age 63, beloved husband of June A. (Prince) Letellier passed away Monday, January 31, 2022 at the Lowell General Hospital after a brief illness.
He was born in Cambridge, January 21, 1959, a son of the late Robert A. and Patricia (Doughty) Letellier and was raised in Billerica having graduated from Billerica Memorial High School. He then moved to Waltham before moving back to Billerica.
Bob was employed for Parker Hannifin Nichols for 40 years and was most recently employed at LAB Medical Manufacturing in Billerica.
Bob was made happiest surrounded by his many lifelong friends and family. Whether it was watching his beloved Bruins and Patriots, hosting one of his many cookouts in his backyard or tending to his beloved garden, what truly mattered was being amongst those who knew him best. Everyone was a friend and always welcomed. His mischievous demeanor and tendency to always bring laughter to those around him will be missed by all those who knew him.
Besides his wife, Bob is survived by his daughters, Desiree Letellier and her husband Cliff Budau of Dracut and Chanel Derochers and her husband Jimmy of Billerica; his sons, David Letellier of Waltham, Justin Letellier and his wife Kate of Fort Riley, KS and Matthew Hamilton and his wife Stephanie of Billerica; his brother, Joseph Bernier of Lowell; his sisters, Patricia MacDonald of Rindge, NH, Darlene Letellier of Pueblo, CO and Mary Schatz of Cape Code and his eight grandchildren, Ryley and Samantha Budau, London and Lacey Letellier, and Nathan, Brayden, Grayson Derochers, and Salem Hamilton.
Visiting hours will be held Thursday at the Sweeney Memorial Funeral Home, 66 Concord Rd., Billerica from 4-7 p.m. A graveside service will be held Friday at the Fox Hill Cemetery, 130 Andover Rd., Billerica at 12 noon. A celebration of his life will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made in Bob’s name to the Special Olympics in honor of his cherished son David www.specialolympics.org
