Obituary for Rita "Gee" L. Corcoran
Rita “Gee” L. Corcoran – Age 91, wife of the late Charles Corcoran died Sunday at the Lahey Hospital in Burlington.
She was born in Cambridge, July 17, 1925, a daughter of the late Francis and Helen (Ahern) Lavey and was raised in Cambridge and moved to Billerica in 1979. Mrs. Corcoran was an avid Bingo player, having played at the Billerica Elks.
Mrs. Corcoran is survived by her daughter, Mary Lee of Lowell; her grandchildren, Tim Lee and his wife Andrea, Sean Lee, Brendan Lee and his wife Mehr, Kelly Sullivan and her husband Brian, Maureen Hennehan and her husband Kevin and Kevin Burke and his wife Pam; her son-in-law, Bob Burke; her sister-in-law, Gemma Lavey of Somerville and her niece, Rita Buck of Somerville. She was the mother of the late Charles Corcoran and Patricia Burke.
CORCORAN – Of Billerica, Feb. 5, Rita L. (Lavey) Corcoran, A Memorial Mass will be held Friday at St. Andrew Church, Talbot Ave., Billerica at 12:05 p.m. Relatives and friends respectfully invited. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701. Burial in Fox Hill Cemetery, Billerica.
