Obituary for Rita E. Savoie
BILLERICA – Rita E. (Husselbee) Savoie, age 70, beloved wife of Gerard J. Savoie died Thursday at Lowell General Hospital surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Somerville, April 27, 1943 a daughter of the late Stanley Husselbee and Rita (O’Rourke) (Husselbee) Botelho and step daughter of the late Manuel Botelho. Mrs. Savoie lived in Billerica for most of her life and worked for many years as a private caregiver. Besides her husband she is survived by three daughters, Keri Johnson and her husband Richard “Sy” of Lowell, Kathleen Neault and her husband Scott of Tewksbury and Karen Savoie of Billerica and her companion Eric Curtis of Dracut; two brothers, William Husselbee of Lowell and John Husselbee of FL; three sisters, Margaret Botelho of Lowell, Kathleen Botelho of Billerica and Karen Botelho of Belmont as well as four grandchildren, Kaylee and Kelsi Johnson and Kameron and Sydney Neault. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends. SAVOIE – Of Billerica, Feb. 13, Rita E. (Husselbee) Savoie. Funeral Tuesday from the SWEENEY MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 66 Concord Rd., Billerica at 9:30 a.m. A Funeral Mass will be held in St. Andrew’s Church, Billerica at 10:30 a.m. Relatives and friends respectfully invited. Visiting hours will be held Monday from 4 – 7 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Lung Association, 460 Totten Pond Rd., Suite 400, Waltham, MA 02451. Burial in St. Joseph Cemetery, E. Chelmsford.
