Obituary for Richard W. Stone
Richard W. Stone – Age 76, beloved husband of Rita F. (Burke) Stone died unexpectedly Wednesday at their home. He was born in Cambridge, August 17, 1938, a son of the late William and Elizabeth (Beades) Stone and was raised in Cambridge before moving to Billerica 52 years ago. Mr. Stone proudly served in the U.S. Marines and was employed as an Electrical Technician for many area Electronics companies. He was an active member of the Billerica Irish American Club and a communicant of St. Mary’s Church. Besides his wife, Mr. Stone is survived by his son, Michael Stone of Billerica; his daughters, Kathleen Surette of Billerica and Brenda Keller and her husband Lawrence also of Billerica; his grandchildren, Megan and William Surette, Michael Collins, Nicholas and Kyla Stone and Richard Keller and is also survived by 3 great grandchildren. He was the father of the late Timothy Stone. STONE – Of Billerica, formerly of Cambridge, Nov. 12, Richard W. Stone. Funeral Saturday from the SWEENEY MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 66 Concord Rd., Billerica at 8 a.m. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Mary Church at 9 a.m. Relatives and friends respectfully invited.
