Obituary for Richard T. MacDonald
BILLERICA – Richard T. MacDonald, age 67, beloved husband of Denise L. (James) MacDonald died unexpectedly Friday at Lahey Hospital and Medical Center in Burlington
He was born in Somerville, July 13, 1949 a son of the late Richard T. Sr. and Barbara (Twombly) MacDonald and had been a Billerica resident since 1991.
Mr. MacDonald served in the US Navy for twenty years retiring with the rank of SR. Chief, taught Radiological Technology at Temple University School of Medicine and was an MRI Technologist in Massachusetts.
Besides his wife he is survived by two sons, Richard MacDonald III and his wife Michelle of Billerica and Edward MacDonald and his wife Alicia of Littleton; one brother, Edward MacDonald of VA; one sister Deborah Melz of FL as well as his six grandchildren, Richard IV, Brendan, Alyssa, Kevin, Sara and Meaghan. He was the brother of the late James, MacDonald, Virginia MacDonald and Patricia Dobson.
