Obituary for Richard J. Vergato
Richard J. Vergato - Age 62, beloved husband of Gail A. (Gilmartin) Vergato died Thursday, October 28 at their home.
He was born in Newton, November 14, 1947, the son of the late Louis and Madeline (Bernier) Vergato and lived in Billerica for the past 25 years.
Mr. Vergato was employed for Local #22 and worked in the construction field most of his life. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, fishing and riding his Harley Davidson.
Besides his wife, Mr. Vergato is survived by his son, Eric Vergato and his wife Diana of Billerica; his daughter, Lori Beckwith and her husband Jeffrey of Hudson, NH; his grandchildren, Brian Vergato and Megan and Brady Beckwith. Mr. Vergato was the father of the late Mark Vergato.

Funeral Saturday from the SWEENEY MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 66 Concord Rd., Billerica at 9 a.m. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Mary's Church at 10 a.m. Relatives and friends respectfully invited. Visiting hours will be held Friday from 4-7 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the Home for Little Wanderers, 271 Huntington Ave., Development Department, Boston, MA 02115.
