Obituary for Richard B. Blaney
BILLERICA Richard B. Blaney, age 70, beloved husband of Claire (Salvi) Blaney died Monday at the Community Hospice House in Merrimack, New Hampshire.
He was born in Boston, March 16, 1940, a son of the late Winslow and Esther (Bellows) Blaney and lived in Malden prior to moving to Billerica in 1967.
Mr. Blaney served in the US Army and was a Production Manager for Polaroid Corporation in Waltham for 38 years.
He enjoyed wintering in Naples, FL with his wife, playing golf and was a member of the Tewksbury Golf League.
Besides his wife he is survived by one son, Rick Blaney and his wife Lisa of Billerica; three daughters, Michele OBrien and her husband John of Milford, NH, Debi Bowden and her husband David of Milford, NH and Christine Pozzuto and her husband Mike of Tewksbury; one brother, Robert Blaney of Chelmsford, one sister, Winifred Albano of Franklin, MA as well as 8 grandchildren.

Funeral Thursday from the SWEENEY MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 66 Concord Rd., Billerica at 9 a.m. A Funeral Mass will be held in St. Mary Church, Billerica at 10 a.m. Relatives and friends respectfully invited.
