Obituary for Richard P. Conte
Richard P. Conte – Age 76, beloved husband of Betty-Jean (Kennedy) Conte died Thursday at the Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston.
He was born in Boston, November 19, 1940, a son of the late Ulderico and Helen (Morante) Conte and was raised in Winchester and moved to Billerica 1972.
Mr. Conte proudly served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He was employed at the Lexington Lumber Company and later worked as a Security Guard at the Stone and Webster Company before his retirement. He was an active communicant of St. Mary Church where he served as an Usher. He was a member of the Billerica Knights of Columbus having served as a District Deputy and a Past Grand Knight.
Besides his wife, Mr. Conte is survived by his daughter, Denise Campbell of Billerica; his son, Brian Conte of Lowell and his sister, Marilyn Heaney of NY.

Conte, Funeral Monday from the SWEENEY MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 66 Concord Rd., Billerica at 8 a.m. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Mary Church at 9 a.m. Relatives and friends respectfully invited.
