Obituary for Raymond D. Morris Jr.
BILLERICA - Raymond D. Morris Jr., Age 55 died unexpectedly Wednesday in Lowell. He was born in Lowell, April 4, 1957, a son of the late Raymond D. Sr. and Eleanor T. (Collins) Morris and was a lifelong Billerica resident. Mr. Morris was a signalman for Amtrak for over 20 years, served in the US Navy, was in the bowling league at Collins Bowladrome in Billerica and enjoyed traveling and going to the beach. He is survived by one daughter, Brittany Morris of Billerica; nine brothers, Daniel J., Robert W., and Michael E., all of Billerica; Edward V. and his wife Trisha of Billerica, John W. and his wife Amy of Billerica, William F. and his wife Janet of Chelmsford; Paul D. and his wife Eileen of Chelmsford; Stephen R. and Richard J. of Lowell; one sister Ellen E. Ortolani and her husband Chris of Billerica; his former wife Paula Morris of Billerica; a step-daughter, Kristin McBride-Silva and her husband Andy of Nashua; a stepson, Rick McBride and his wife Rebecca of Shirley; one granddaughter, Kayla Silva as well as many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews and friends. MORRIS – Of Billerica, unexpectedly June 27, Raymond D. Morris Jr. Visiting hours will be held Sunday in the SWEENEY MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 66 Concord Rd., Billerica from 1 – 4 p.m. A Funeral mass will be held Monday in St. Andrew’s Church, 45 Talbot Ave. Billerica at 9 a.m. Relatives and friends respectfully invited. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Assn., 20 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701 Burial in St. Patrick's Cemetery in Lowell.
