Obituary for Ralph R. Salvati
Ralph R. Salvati – age 76, beloved husband of MaryAnn (Lacolla) Salvati passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Saturday February 5th, 2022 at the Lahey Hospital in Burlington.
He was born in Boston, May 9, 1945, the son of the late Anthony and Mary (Reppucci) Salvati and was raised in the North End of Boston before moving to Billerica in 1974.
Ralph was the Owner of the former Arrow Auto School in Revere and prior to his retirement was a Chef at the Burlington Marriott Hotel for over 20 years.
Besides his wife, Ralph is survived by his daughter, Andrea Rosa and her husband John of Billerica; his son, Christopher Salvati and his wife Tai of Wilmington; his brother, Joseph Salvati and his wife Marie of Boston; his sister, Josephine Spagnuolo of Boston, his three grandchildren, Ashley Rene, Gianna Rosa and Julia Rosa. Also survived by his sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Susanne and Mario Simeone of Peabody, and many loving nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Antonio Salvati and Marie Ramos and brother-in-law of the late Robert Spagnuolo.
In his spare time, Ralph loved to travel and attend his grandkids sporting events, recitals, and graduations. He took pleasure in his daily walks and playing and spending time with his grand dogs. Ralph loved his lifelong friends and cherished the bond they shared. His love of food and cooking showed everyday by creating meals for his family and enjoying food at his favorite restaurants. His ability to always bring laughter to those around him was one of the most important things to him, and he will be missed by all those who were fortunate enough to know him.
Visiting hours will be held Wednesday at the Sweeney Memorial Funeral Home, 66 Concord Rd., Billerica from 4-7 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held Thursday at St. Matthew the Evangelist Parish at St. Theresa Church at 10 a.m. Burial will take place at the Fox Hill Cemetery, Billerica.
