MATHAI, RACHEL – Of Burlington, formerly of Bombay, March 20. Wife of Mathai V. Mathai of Burlington. Beloved daughter of Sosamma Thomas and late Thomas Varghese. Mother of John Mathai and wife Mini of Bombay, Jiji Kurvilla and husband Biju of Bombay, Mathew Mathai and wife Candice of Burlington. Sister of Thomas Varghese of Burlington, Oommen Thomas of Billerica, Philipose Thomas of Burlington, Annamma Mathew of Andover, Ponnamma Konethu of TX and Susamma Kutty of Sudbury. Grandmother of Sanil, Jasmine, Biji, Jenny and Jocelyn. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. A Funeral Service will be held Saturday at St. Marks Episcopal Church, 10 St. Mark’s Rd., Burlington, MA at 10 a.m. Relatives and friends respectfully invited. Visiting hours will be held Friday at Sweeney Memorial Funeral Home, 66 Concord Rd., Billerica from 5 – 8 p.m. Burial in Pine Haven Cemetery, Burlington.
