Obituary for Rachel L. Goding
WESTFORD Rachel L. (Witham) Goding, age 89, wife of the late Albert B. Goding died Friday at Westford Nursing and Rehab Center.
She was born in Acton, ME, December 16, 1921 a daughter of the late Arthur R. and Margaret F. (Day) Witham and was a Billerica resident for over 50 years before moving to Chelmsford and most recently Westford.
Mrs. Goding was a bus driver for the former Vocell and Bent Bus Companies in Billerica, was a longtime Billerica Poll worker and had been active at the Chelmsford Senior Center.
She is survived by one daughter, Susan Sullivan of Derry, NH; two sons, Stephen Goding of Brattleboro, VT and Thomas Goding and his wife Elizabeth of Springvale, ME; her daughter-in-law Louise Goding of AZ as well as many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren and her dear family friend Judy Reynolds. She was also the mother of the late David Goding and sister of the late Thelma Cibel.
GODING Of Westford, formerly of Chelmsford and Billerica, Dec. 31, Rachel L. (Witham) Goding. A Funeral Service will be held Monday at the SWEENEY MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 66 Concord Rd., Billerica at 12 p.m. Relatives and friends respectfully invited. Visiting hours will be held from 10 a.m. until 12 p.m. prior to the service. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimers Assn., 311 Arsenal St., Watertown, MA 02472 Burial in Fox Hill Cemetery, Billerica.
