Obituary for Priscilla A. Hyland
Priscilla A. Hyland – Age 87, wife of the late Richard Hyland, Edward Woodbury and Joseph Ferraina died Thursday at the Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital in Plymouth.
She was born in Burlington, April 13, 1931, a daughter of the late Edward L. and Myrtle S. (Buckley) Foster and was raised in Burlington and lived in Marshfield for many years before moving to Carver.
Mrs. Hyland enjoyed puzzles, reading and keeping up with current events. She was a Soap Opera aficionado and most of all enjoyed spending time with her family. She was employed at Raytheon in Burlington and later at Tech-Etch in Plymouth before her retirement, but was a stay at home mom most of her life.
She is survived by her children, Diane Smedberg of Wareham, Daniel Woodbury and his wife Catherine of Wilmington, Mark Woodbury and his wife Denise of Brockton, Michael Woodbury and his wife Kathy of Pembroke, Edward Woodbury and his wife Martina of Germany, Brenda Woodbury of Carver, Judith LeCrone and her husband Steven of TX and Michelle Woodbury of Carver. Sister of Roger Foster and his wife Ginny of Westford, Wayne Foster and his wife Louisa of Manomet and Eleanor Abisi of Dracut. She is also survived by 25 grandchildren and 26 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was the mother of the late Janet Harp and sister of the late Kenney Foster, Walter Foster, Stanley Foster and Linda Stayman.
A visitation will be held Wednesday, Jan. 2 at the Sweeney Memorial Funeral Home, 66 Concord Rd., Billerica from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. with a service to be held at 1 p.m. Burial will take place at the Fox Hill Cemetery, Billerica.
