Obituary for Philip A. Hajjar
N. BILLERICA – Philip A. Hajjar, age 69, died Wednesday at his home surrounded by his family after a lengthy illness.
He was born in Lowell, Sept 19, 1946 a son of the late Dr. Solomon and Elizabeth (Morris) Hajjar and was a lifelong resident of North Billerica.
Mr. Hajjar worked for the USPS as a Letter Carrier in North Billerica for over 35 years.
He coached Little League Baseball in Billerica and raised horses as a hobby but will be remember for his love of baseball and being a lifelong Red Sox fan.
He is survived by one daughter, Kaila Hajjar and her fiancée Ronald Howell of Nashua; one brother, Richard Hajjar and his wife Rita of Chelmsford; two sisters, Maryjane Maki and her husband Raymond of Woodstock, NH and Martha Lynch and her husband John of Lowell; two grandchildren, Connor and Devlin as well as several nieces and nephews. He was also the brother of the late Paul Hajjar.

Funeral Tuesday from the SWEENEY MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 66 Concord Rd., Billerica at 11 a.m. A Funeral Mass will be held in St. Andrew Church, N. Billerica at 12 noon. Relatives and friends respectfully invited. Visiting hours will be held Monday from 4 – 7 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the Christopher Maki Scholarship Fund, c/o Jane Maki, 32 Sergeant St., N. Woodstock, NH 03262.
