Obituary for Peter J. DelSolia
Peter J. DelSolia – Age 77, husband of the late Carol A. (Boudreau) DelSolia passed away peacefully Wednesday at the Sawtelle Family Hospice House in Reading surrounded by his family.
He was born in Woburn, March 9, 1939, a son of the late Peter and Benilda (DeVito) DelSolia and lived in Woburn and Billerica before moving to Twin Mountain, NH.
Mr. DelSolia proudly served in the U.S. Marine Corps.
He was employed as a Truck Driver for over 30 years having retired from the former Sanborn Motor Express. He was a member of Local #25 and the Winchester Elks. He enjoyed golfing and most especially riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle.
Mr. DelSolia is survived by his daughters, Denise Smith and her husband Stephen and Darlene Trott and her husband Glenn of Billerica and Debra Willgohs and her husband Peter of Tewksbury; his son, Peter J. DelSolia of Billerica; his brothers, Robert and Paul DelSolia of SC; his sister, Joanne Emmett of NY and five grandchildren, Jacqueline, Samantha, Jonathan, Rachael and Kaitlyn.
DelSolia – Nov. 30, Peter J. DelSolia, Visiting hours will be held Monday at the SWEENEY MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 66 Concord Rd., Billerica from 3-7 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held Tuesday at the First Congregational Church, 18 Andover Rd., Billerica at 11 a.m. Relatives and friends respectfully invited. Memorial contributions may be made to the VNA Middlesex East & Visiting Nurse Hospice, 607 North Ave., Suite 17, Wakefield, MA 01880 for Sawtelle Hospice House. Burial in Fox Hill Cemetery, Billerica.
