Obituary for Pearl C. Berube
BILLERICA – Pearl C. (Dugay) Berube, age 95, wife of the late Lionel Berube died Thursday at Lowell General Hospital. She was born in Rumford, ME, July 6, 1916 a daughter of the late Joseph and Rose (Gallant) Dugay and lived in Winthrop before moving to Billerica over 60 years ago. Mrs. Berube was an assembler for MA/COM in Bedford for many years, was an avid gardener and enjoyed bingo, keno and animals. She is survived by one daughter, Gloria Thomas and her husband Phillip of Lowell; one grandson, Chad Riordan of Billerica; one step-grandson Jeffrey Thomas and his fiancée Aimee; one sister Basselis Gammon of Maine; her dear friends Delores Gray and Cecile Fraser as well as several nieces and one nephew. She was the sister of the late Joseph, Verl, Claude, Everett and Lester Dugay. The family would like to thank the staff at D’Youville Senior Care, especially those on B Wing, for all of their care and support. BERUBE – Of Billerica, formerly of Winthrop, June 28, Pearl C. Visiting hours will be held Saturday at the SWEENEY MEMOIRAL FUNERAL HOME, 66 Concord Rd., Billerica from 8 – 9:30 a.m. A Funeral Mass will be held in St. Theresa Church, Billerica at 10 a.m. Relatives and friends respectfully invited. Burial in Fox Hill Cemetery, Billerica.
