Obituary for Pauline M. Browne
Pauline M. Browne - Age 76, beloved wife of Jack F. Browne and mother of Karen Jackson and Douglas Browne, died Tuesday at the D'Youville Senior Care in Lowell, after a courageous and long battle with cancer. She will be greatly missed by all. She was born in Buffalo, NY, September 9, 1938, a daughter of the late James and Stella (Pasierbowicz) Golebiewski and was raised in Buffalo and moved to Billerica in 1968. Mrs. Browne was employed as the assistant to the CFO of USCI Bard in Billerica for 20 years prior to her retirement. She served on the Billerica Finance Committee and was a Town Meeting Representative for many years. She enjoyed volunteering at the Lowell General Cancer Center for more than 15 years. Besides her husband, Mrs. Browne is survived by her daughter, Karen Jackson of Nashua; her son, Douglas Browne and his wife Michele of Groton; her brothers, Ray Grayson and Dan Golebiewski of NY and Gerald Golebiewski of FL; her sisters, Dorothy Goveski and Marilyn Guarino of NY and Rita Statzer of VA. She is also survived by 20 nieces and nephews and was the sister of the late Ron Golebiewski, Eleanor Chervin and Phyllis Pasqueletti. BROWNE - Of Billerica, May 26, Pauline M. (Golebiewski) Browne, Funeral Saturday from the SWEENEY MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 66 Concord Rd., Billerica at 8 a.m. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Theresa Church at 9 a.m. Relatives and friends respectfully invited.
