Obituary for Pauline F. Taylor
BILLERICA - Pauline F. (Scott) Taylor, age 92, wife of the late Raymond Taylor died Friday at the Life Care Center of Merrimack Valley.

She was born in Manchester, NH September 25, 1917 a daughter of the late Harvey and Theresa (Faughnan) Scott and has been a Billerica resident since 1954. Mrs. Taylor worked for Sears as a catalog salesperson before founding Taylor Florist in Billerica which she owned and operated from 1966-1978 and retired from in 1983.

Mrs. Taylor was very talented and creative. In addition to learning floral design she enjoyed writing poetry, short stories and even taught herself oil painting. Most important to Pauline was spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She was an active parishioner of St. Theresa Church in Billerica where she was a Eucharistic Minister, a member of the prayer group, taught CCD and was an RCIA sponsor, all expressions of her deep faith in Christ.

Mrs. Taylor was the mother of the late Joyce Reader and her husband Robert Reader of Billerica, Raymond D. Taylor and his wife Janis of Haverhill and Richard S. Taylor and his wife Patricia of Lowell. She is the sister of Grace Johnson of Stoneham and is also survived by seven grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was also the mother of the late Janice Taylor and sister of the late Leonard and David Scott and Hazel Morin.

Funeral Monday from the SWEENEY MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 66 Concord Rd., Billerica at 8 a.m. A Funeral Mass will be held in St. Theresa Church, Billerica at 9 a.m. Relatives and friends respectfully invited. Visiting hours will be held Sunday from 2 - 5 p.m. Burial in Fox Hill Cemetery, Billerica
