Obituary for Paula J. Field
Paula J. Field – Age 54, entered into eternal peace on Monday while surrounded by her loved ones after a brief illness. She was born in Lowell, July 11, 1960, the daughter of Janice (Currin) Schultz of Billerica and the late Paul Schultz. Paula was raised and educated in the Billerica School System and graduated from Shawsheen Valley Technical High School with a concentration in Business Technology. After working several years in the corporate world, Paula finally found her calling as a Certified Nursing Assistant and Home Health Aide. Paula experience great joy and loved working with her clients throughout the Merrimack Valley. Paula enjoyed a variety of passions in life, including being and avid swimmer and diver, teaching swimming lessons for the Harvard Swim School, riding her motorcycle and especially taking trips to Bar Harbor, ME or riding throughout the New England countryside. Paula also enjoyed cooking and tasting ethnic cuisine, organizing and decorating her home and spending time with her family, friends and her adoring pets, Zoe and Dexter. Paula will be remembered as a luminous spirit, always offering a kind word and a smile to friends and strangers. We will forever miss her warm heart, generosity and sense of humor. Besides her mother, she is survived by her life partner of twelve years, Gerard R. LeDoux of Billerica; her brother, William “Billy” J. Schultz of Haverhill, her stepchildren, Gerard R. LeDoux and his wife Tanaya and their daughter Gianna of Hudson, NH and Andria LeDoux and her partner Alana of N. Providence, RI. She also leaves behind her dear friends, Dawn Sousa and Alicia Trainor. FIELD – Of Billerica, Nov. 10, Paula J. (Schultz) Field. Visiting hours will be held Thursday at the SWEENEY MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 66 Concord Rd., Billerica from 4-7 p.m. with a prayer service to be held at 6:45 p.m. Relatives and friends respectfully invited.
